I paired soft Japanese pigskin suede with a firmer backing, a stitch-free edge and a 295 mm diameter for light, smooth handling.

I use Japanese pigskin suede on top and polyester / SBR synthetic rubber underneath. The aim is to retain the soft leather touch while making the mat light and smooth to handle.
Smoother changes, too.
I bond the full surface with adhesive sheet and leave the outer edge unstitched. Feedback from DJs led me to reduce the diameter from 300 to 295 mm, helping keep the mat clear of your hand during record changes.
Adjust the response to your touch.
The mat supports quick cueing and scratching. Two slip sheets are supplied per mat to place underneath and adjust the lightness to your preference.
